WELCOME
Our school has been teaching the children of Kalingalinga
since 1998. The school has grown in the past 12 years from the original
24 students to almost 200. It is the only high school in Kalingalinga,
a compound of 20,000 people, located 5 kilometers NE of Lusaka, the capital
of Zambia.
In
December 2006 the school was designated as a recipient of memorial donations
for Jackson C. Oswald (J. O.) of Colleyville, Texas. These gifts have
initiated a building fund for the school. As a result we expanded and
changed our name to J. O. Chifundo School. A committee was formed in
Zambia and the U.S. to oversee the project. Currently there are 3 permanent
buildings on the property.
We have received Government Certification!
